Here are the answers to the quiz. How did you do?

1 – First National Bank Clock in Exelon (Chase)Plaza
The clock is from the 1903 First National Bank Building designed by D. H. Butnham & Co. Demolished in 1970.
2 – Wrigley Building Clock
Two of four clock faces on the Wrigley Building designed by Graham, Anderson, Probst & White; completed in 1921. Inspired by the Giralda Bell Tower in Seville, Spain, a former minaret.
3 – Go Go Building Tower, South Face
The Go Go Building, formerly known as River Center and before that as a Butler Brothers Warehouse building, designed by D. H . Burnham & Co., completed in 1913.
4 – Father Time Clock on the Jewelers Building
The Father Time Clock was donated by the Elgin Watch Company, a tenant in the Jewelers Building, 35 E. Wacker. The building was designed by Giaver & Dinkleberg and completed in 1926.
5 – Clock Facing the River on the Reid Murdoch Company Building
The Reid Murdoch & Co. Building was designed by George C. Nimmons and completed in 1914. In 1930, its symmetry was destroyed when one of the western bays was removed due to the widening of LaSalle Street.
6 – Clock on the Viaduct Carrying Metra Tracks over Washington Street at Canal Street
Charles Frost and Alfred Hoyt Granger designed the Chicago and NorthWestern Railroad terminal and powerhouse and connecting structures, completing them in 1911. Although the terminal has been replaced, the other structures remain.
7 – Clock Tower on Dearborn Station
The Dearborn Street Station was designed by Cyrus L. W. Eidlitz and opened in 1885.
8 – Façade of the Board of Trade Building
The Board of Trade Building was designed by Holabird & Root in an Art Deco style and completed in 1930.
9 – Clock Tower on Boeing International Headquarters
Boeing International Headquarters (at least until renamed), the former Morton International Building, was designed by Ralph Johnson of Perkins and Will and completed in 1990.
10 – C. D. Peacock at State and Monroe
The C. D. Peacock store in the Palmer House dates from 1927 when that building was completed. The building’s design was by Holabird & Roche, while Peacock, starting as House of Peacock, has been a Chicago institution since 1837. The doors were Tiffany, but does anyone know who designed the clock?
11 – Macy’s (Marshall Field) Clock at State and Washington
No clock was installed on State and Randolph until the new State and Washington Building was completed in 1907. It was at this time that two new clocks were installed on the corners. The clocks were designed by Pierce Anderson in 1906 and built by A. E. Coleman Company in 1907. The Marshall Field store complex was built in five stages between 1893 and 1915. The architects were various editions of Daniel Burnham’s firm.
12 – North Entrance of 2 North Riverside Plaza
2 North Riverside (formerly the Chicago Daily News Building) was designed by Holabird & Root and completed in 1929. It was designed in the “modern” Art Deco style to contrast with its rival “medieval” style Tribune Tower.
