Grand Army of the Republic Rooms Reopening March 26-27
Come enjoy the free public programming during the special Reopening Weekend – includes tours, talks, dance performances and more (see link below). What better way to celebrate the restoration of the G.A.R. Memorial Hall and Rotunda at the Chicago Cultural Center than with fellow CAC Volunteers!
Volunteer Connections will have facilitators on hand to welcome you and help facilitate volunteer introductions and to organize optional post event socials. Enjoy a coffee or cocktail with your CAC friends and discuss your G.A.R experience!
If interested, please let us know when you plan to attend so we can be on the lookout for you. Click the link below.

Look for us wearing our CAC hats outside the north entrance of the Chicago Cultural Center 30 minutes before your selected session(s) begins.
We look forward to meeting new friends and reconnecting with familiar faces!!
Google “Grand Army of the Republic Hall and Rotunda Reopening Weekend” for a detailed list of activities.
Come one and all! Will be fun to meet other volunteers! Make sure you answer the survey so the Volunteer Connections task force can welcome you! Bravo to volunteers who are dipping their toes into “facilitating” the GAR experience. Fun ahead!!
