Ah, spring—fresh green leaves, flowers in bloom—and romance in the air!
Pam Loewenstein’s (2015) son, Josh, and now daughter-in-law, Hilary, were married on Saturday, May 20. The wedding was held on the beautiful southeast coast of Maine in York Harbor on a picture perfect day. Family and friends traveled from all over the country to join the celebration. And the joy continues- Pam’s daughter was engaged last month! We’ll be looking for that news as well.
Ben Wolfe (2015) was recently married and sends this dispatch:
My wife Stefanie and I were married on May 6, 2017. We decided very early on that since Chicago, and the Chicago Athletic Association in particular, have been such an important part in our lives together, we would make them the centerpiece of our wedding day. I have been a docent at CAA since shortly after it opened in June 2015, so it should be no surprise that it was one of the first “regular” spots we frequented as a couple. We also knew that we wanted a very private, intimate affair, and the rooftop at Cindy’s made the perfect location for our combined ceremony and reception event. Stefanie and I arrived on Thursday and checked into the CAA’s amazing Founder’s Suite (highly recommended for a special occasion), and we held our ceremony on Saturday, with a small gathering of immediate family on the private terrace of the Cindy’s balcony. Afterwards, we retreated into the private dining area and celebrated with an incredible brunch, served up by Cindy’s excellent chefs and waitstaff. When it came time for photos, we jumped around the Loop a bit, and as you might imagine, the city made a star appearance. The weather was absolutely perfect, and there could not have been a more meaningful backdrop for our big day!
Congratulations!
Thanks Siobhan!
