Motor Row Tour Looking for Docents

If you love cars, we have a tour for you. CAC will feature the Motor Row tour during the NASCAR weekend. We need docents to give it. The tour highlights Chicago’s Motor Row Historic District, which contains the largest and most intact automotive sales colony surviving in the U.S. Guests explore the history and architecture of an area that is currently in the process of dramatic transformation. Many of our finest architects applied their design talents to the buildings that originally housed automotive dealerships with famous names like Cadillac, Fiat, Locomobile, Auburn, Cord and Pierce Arrow.

The tour will be offered in the mornings and afternoons between Thursday, June 29, to July 4. The route begins at S. Michigan Ave at Cermak and ends at 24th St. at S. Michigan. It lasts approximately 90 minutes.
