Dear CAF Docents and VEVs,
It’s official! For those of you who were not able to attend one of Wednesday’s meetings, I am thrilled to share with you the official site for the new Chicago Architecture Center (CAC). The CAC will be located at 111 East Wacker Drive, the very heart of downtown Chicago, above the dock for the CAF River Cruise aboard Chicago’s First Lady Cruises. Chicagoans have an unrivaled love for architecture, and I am excited that—with your help—we will give Chicago a center that matches the city’s place in the history of modern architecture.
This is an incredibly exciting time for the organization, and I am so pleased to have each of you work alongside us as we begin this new chapter for CAF and Chicago. I look forward to keeping you informed along the way.
