Churches by Bus: A New Look will be a one time tour on the morning of Wednesday, September 11, 2024. We are looking for additional docents for the following sites:
Old St Pat’s, 700 W Adams, 9:50 – 10:20
Assumption Catholic Church, 323 W Illinois, 10:30 – 11:00
St James Cathedral, 65 E Huron, 11:15 to 12
No formal training is needed (other than already being certified as a docent). You may want to do a little research on your own. Tour directors will see that you receive information on your site, there may be an opportunity to meet with church personnel and experienced docents will help you prepare. You will only be at one site, so this will involve approximately 30 to 45 minutes of your time for the tour and possibly a meeting at the church beforehand.
