Building Interiors and Tours Update – August 13, 2021

WE WILL HAVE AN UPDATE VERY SOON!!!

Tour directors and others are working hard to get approvals from building management to enter the interiors. These approvals are coming in and tour directors will be advising their docents when they may enter. Keep in mind that adding interiors may change your tour’s length and/or ending location.

Remember, you cannot just take it upon yourself to go inside. Unless you have been told by your tour director that an interior has been approved for entry, you are not to enter the building.

When at last you are permitted to go inside, you and your guests must wear masks. When your tour begins, make sure each touree has a mask. If a tour-taker doesn’t have one, there are some at the box office. These are not left out on the counter, as we don’t want folks deciding just to load up on masks when they are “free”. The CAC website addresses the mask issue, too.

It’s pretty clear that conditions are rapidly changing. As we move forward, we could be asked not to enter buildings that were previously approved for entry.  Tour directors will let you know if an interior has become off-limits.

Watchfulness and flexibility are the keys here. Please check The Bridge weekly for updates on current conditions. And watch for communications from your tour directors. They will let you know when changes must be made with your tours. And please be flexible, because the situation is sure to fluctuate!
