Anne Kelly Perrecone arrived on January 31, 2024, weighing in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Parents Charlie and Maeve are on a quick learning curve as first-time parents. As his photo shows, Grandpa John Perrecone is thrilled with little Annie. And she will continue the family’s Sicilian tradition by calling John, Nanu. Congratulations to all!

It’s spring, so there are more babies! Sarah Kammerer, docent class of 2023, and her husband Adam Hitchcock welcomed their daughter, Madeleine Rose Hitchcock, on November 7, 2023 at 7:20am weighing 8lbs 3oz. Note Madeleine’s birth and Sarah’s docent class both date 2023—Sarah might well be known as Wonder Woman!

I spend most Wednesday evenings watching the Chicago Trilogy on television, and I suspect I am not alone. If you watched Chicago Fire on February 28th, one character might have looked familiar. Running to avoid smoke while wearing tan pants and a blue sweater was Education Guide John Perrecone! Thespian John does this work for love, not money. Salary? One hundred twenty six dollars for eight hours of work!
