Join in to find out about a few of the secret sites.
This is Shubart’s fifth book, all about Chicago. Her works include “Taylor Street: Chicago’s Little Italy,:” “What’s With Chicago?,” and “Chicago: An Illustrated Timeline.”
Wedding bells rang for Kelly Manteck, (Class of 2020) last October when she and Ryan Karas tied the knot at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles. The same pastor as who baptized Kelly when she was born and had married her parents in 1978, officiated at her wedding – what a special touch to the day! Art Deco, a favorite period for Kelly, was reflected by her statement colors of champagne, blush, navy, and slate blue. Ryan, a navy veteran, naturally went on more than 10 river cruises with Kelly during her training, quizzing her patter on various buildings.
Congratulations Kelly and Ryan!
