As you know, there have been a lot of personnel changes throughout the CAC this year. Here is an overview of Who’s Who on staff on the first floor and their areas of responsibility.
Front of House Manager: Kaitlyn Milligan Effective August 1 Kaitlyn has accepted a promotion to Front of House Manager. Kaitlyn began working here about 2 years ago while she was still finishing her studies at DePaul, which she completed this past Spring. Currently the Center Coordinator, she has been the Manager on Duty several days every week. I have seen her handle challenging guest and staff issues with grace and calm and am certain that she will excel in this new role.
Center Coordinator: Layne Lequatte Effective August 1 Layne has accepted a promotion to Center Coordinator. Layne has been working in our Box Office and Call Center for more than a year and has progressed to a Shift Lead. Quite proficient with both Tessitura and Ticket Master they have also acquired a deep knowledge of our tours and programs. They are passionate about working at the CAC and advancing to support the FOH team to continue and improve customer service, member support, and volunteer relations.
Retail Coordinator: Sam Bowling Sam is continuing in his role as Retail Coordinator, adding him to this list for your reference. Retail Sales have grown by 40% since this point last year under Sam’s expert leadership and merchandising.
DURING ALL OPEN HOURS AT LEAST ONE OF THE ABOVE SENIOR FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGEMENT WILL BE ON SITE. If you are having a problem generally you will want to connect with Caroline, Lexie, or Cole if they are here, but Kaitlyn, Layne and Sam will also be happy to help you.
A few more people you should know:
Shift Leads: There are several FOH staff who have added responsibilities for cash management and opening and closing responsibilities. If you ever need help and you cannot find one of the above people ask for the Shift Lead on duty.
Sales Associates: We have 15 Sales Associates! That’s a lot of faces and names both ways. Please take a minute to introduce yourself if you need them for something.
Facilities: Christian McTizic and Rob Rodak support our facilities and mechanics. You probably do not cross with them often, but they are also helpful.
IT/AV: Chinazo Nnadozie is often the tech support when we are running virtual or hybrid events in the Lecture Hall. If you are presenting and having problems he will be happy to help
Tour Operations Manager: Madeline Sneed Effective August 1 Madeline will be moving to the 13th floor and will be responsible for ticketing technology and reporting as it relates to Tours in both Tessitura and Ticket Master. Madeline came to the CAC as a new graduate from Kent State University 2 years ago where she managed their theater Box Office. She has been integral in developing the Front of House Team, training, and processes here at the CAC and I look forward to working with her now to tackle the ticketing technology components. She will also be the one to review and process Tour Report Forms and pull together the Annual Tour Attendance Reports. She will fill the staff role on the Tour Committee.
