Docent Enrichment Committee Program

“A welcoming home in the midst of a bustling city,” is how the Fortnightly Club describes this beautiful house at 120 East Bellevue in Chicago’s Gold Coast.  Designed by the prestigious New York firm of McKim, Mead and White in 1892 as a home for Bryan & Helen Aldis Lathrop, it has been the home of the Club, founded in 1873, since 1922.  CAC docents have been invited to tour the Fortnightly Club on Tuesday, September 20 at 10am.  Registration is limited to 15 guests; if that date does not work for you and/or demand exceeds that number, a second date will be offered in October.  The tour lasts about 45 minutes, and The Original Pancake House is right down the block for those interested in continuing on to brunch!
