Dear CAC Docents & Volunteers
I am pleased to announce that Juanna Blackwell [pronounced Juan-eh] will be joining us as Chief Operating Officer effective September 7. Juanna comes to us from Live Nation Entertainment where she served most recently as the Senior Director – Finance & Operations. Prior to that she was at Kraft Foods. Juanna was also a Civil Engineering Consultant and also worked in her father’s real estate company, Blackwell Appraisals, which co-managed commercial and residential property appraisals. She has a range of experience in analytical work and making data driven decisions and shares a strong desire for process improvement.
Juanna will work in close coordination with the President & Chief Executive Officer, Senior Staff, Board members and the Finance Committee to provide supportive leadership to CAC’s high functioning core operating groups of finance, human resources, information technology, and facilities management. She will have the unique opportunity to play a direct role helping to shape the strategic and operational direction of the organization. She will be also be responsible for ensuring the long-term fiscal health and viability of the institution by ensuring that strategic and annual planning are properly coordinated and tracked with visible metrics. Additionally, she will serve as a leader and collaborator on organizational matters and will lead efforts for process improvements and performance enhancements across the organization, specifically regarding revenue recognition and digital transformation.
