Trivia – Working Together – CAC Couples

Over the years, the docent body has been populated with couples – that not-so-rare example of two docents (or volunteers) who are married to one another. Many “pop” psychologists say that working together makes couples happy, keeps them aware of each other’s feelings, and is preferable to separate work styles. (Others, equally “pop,” say working together can steal free time away from each partner, can push partners into other relationships that overtake the marriage – but let’s not go into that.)

Obviously, at CAC, couples have found working together actually works. Often, one docent begins training and not far behind, the other partner wants to be involved, too. Sometimes they join the CAC docent body together, But however it happens, it seems to work out for everyone.

Here are some trivia questions about docent couples:

    1. Which couple acted as tour directors for the Historic tour for close to a decade?
    2. How many couples give the River Cruise?
    3. How many couples met at CAF/CAC? Can you name them?
    4. Who are these couples? Can you name them?
a, One staffer and one docent?
      b. One docent and one exhibition host?

You’ll find the answers next week on The Bridge, together with an article about some of the couples who have enriched the CAC docent body.
