May Flowers. There has been a lot for all of us to take in these past two months. None of us could have anticipated this evolution of events. That is why the beautiful things we love have even more impact. The tulips on Michigan Avenue take one’s breath away during any given year. But now, they take on more meaning. Rain or shine, they can’t help but bring moments of happiness and hope to our hearts. And what great companions they make with our magnificent architecture. I’m thankful for Chicago’s legacy of architecture and beautification. “Eventually, I think Chicago will be the most beautiful great city left in the world.” – Frank Lloyd Wright.

Thanks for the gorgeous photos, Susan! They provide cheer at a bleak moment in our history.
The umbrellas for both people and flowers say without words what our lives have become. Thanks for the lovely interlude, Susan.
