A Survey of Great Architecture Exhibitions

The Chicago Architecture Center was not the first cultural institution to offer architecture exhibits.  We follow a long line of architectural displays, stretching back more than 200 years.  Join us for this two-part class with historian and author John Zukowsky which will explore the traditions and trends in exhibiting architecture. The first session will provide an overview of great architecture exhibits, from the 1880’s through the 1970’s.  During the second session, we will be comparing and contrasting to local case studies.

This class will provide a wonderful opportunity for CAC volunteers and docents, to understand the importance of architecture exhibits as they relate to the offerings we have at the CAC.
