As our organization continues to grow and evolve, we recognize the need to adapt to the changing landscape and stay ahead of the curve. To that end, we will be implementing several changes in staff structure that will help us better serve our customers and position ourselves for future success.

Changes:

Simone Edwards – Chief Financial Officer – Remaining in her role as CFO, Simone will be taking on HR, IT and Facilities in addition to her previous charges of Finance, Operations, and Events. This structure will streamline our operations teams and provided consolidated support for CAC and its visitors.

Philip Nadasdy – Chief Strategy Officer – Philip’s restructured role will oversee the learning, programs, and exhibits teams, with an eye towards Org-Wide strategy development, including the next iteration of our strategic plan. Under the guidance of Philp, we have restructured our Programs into the following areas: Civic Industry Practice, Exhibitions, Learning, and Public Engagement.

• Michael Wood (Woody), will focus on the Civic Industry Practice.
• Eve Fineman will continue to lead Exhibits.
• Angela Esposito, Sr. Director of Learning, will focus on K-12 and Adult Learning initiatives.
• Adam Rubin,  now Sr. Director of Public Engagement, will lead:

• • Cairo Dye, MPE – Outreach
  • Jennifer Latshaw, Programs
  • Ian Spula,  MPE – Exhibits

Lauren Bakos – Chief Marketing Officer – In this new role, Lauren will continue to oversee CAC’s marketing, public relations and membership efforts with added responsibilities toward deepening CAC’s overall brand and communications strategies.

With these changes, I will continue to lead the strategic direction of the organization and will be able to devote more time to community outreach, building relationships with the design community and with fellow cultural institutions to strengthen all our efforts.
